Cryptocurrency #9: 3 minutes of $ 7 million virtual money

Hackers spend only a few short minutes collecting virtual money worth up to $ 7 million due to a minor bug on the CoinDash website.
According to a statement from CoinDash, the Token Sale event took place on July 17, hackers took advantage of the vulnerability and took over $ 7 million in virtual money for a period of three minutes.

Specifically, hackers have changed a small but very important part to address Ethereum. Therefore, the virtual currency in the session has moved to the wallet of the bad guys, causing property losses.

"It was unfortunate to announce that we were attacked during the Token Sale event, where $ 7 million was stolen by an unknown criminal," the company said.

However, some people in the Reddit community do not think so. They claim that CoinDash has arranged the attack, changed the address and acted as the victim.

In addition, virtual senders to the address of the hacker will not necessarily lose everything. The company will provide a CDT (CoinDash Token) for anyone who has been cheated for the amount of time that happened before an employee locks the site when it detects a hack.

"CoinDash is responsible to all customers and will send the CDT to those who respond," the company's announcement on the website.

Currently, CoinDash has earned $ 6.4 million from contributors and the company is grateful for the support of its users.
