Pensar en que dos mundos sean iguales es algo que no tiene mucho sentido, se supone que cada uno sea diferente incluso en su esencia, para entenderse y buscar aprovechamiento mutuo, para que esto sea así, deben existir las herramientas o sistemas que permitan ese nivel de entendimiento o aprovechamiento, el problema radica en la falta de información que entre ambos mundos podría existir.

Sucede lo planteado anteriormente entre el mundo en que vivimos y la blockchain, en nuestro mundo existen entes que responden a sus propios intereses, que por este hecho podrían modificarse a favor, influenciando, aprovechándose e incluso adueñándose de oportunidades transaccionales, otra cosa que desafiá a la cadena de bloques es que los hechos (transacciones) en el mundo real pueden darse de manera no lineal o en paralelo, por el contrario la cadena de bloques es determinista todo sucede de manera secuencial, o sea las acciones se determinan en función a las secuencia de hechos o transacciones, por ejemplo la idea del consenso para la confirmación de transacciones con Prueba de Trabajo (POW) es netamente determinista, eso es definitorio de la naturaleza de la cadena de bloques.

Entonces resulta sencillo entender que la cadena de bloques es incompatible con las acciones del mundo real, voy más allá, menos aún con lo centralizado, necesita de un sistema que permita tal entendimiento y que pueda ofrecer compatibilidad para que las personas o empresas puedan realizar acciones o transacciones con la certeza necesaria que permitiera una interacción más o menos sencilla, entre la cadena de bloques y nuestro mundo real, aquí es donde entran en juego los Oráculos.

Mi visión en cuanto a los oráculos es que son entidades que buscan, toman y procesan datos tanto en el mundo real como en la blockchain consiguiendo algún tipo de compaginacion requerida por usuarios, me atrevo a decir que son una especie de contrato inteligente con ciertos niveles de standarizacion según la materia para los cuales fueron creados. Ejemplos de usos de oráculos serian indicar temperaturas, resultados deportivos, apuestas de todo tipo, manejo de historias medicas, sistemas de ventas, entre otros usos.

Ahora estos entes que son programables y que requieren de definir cuales y como van a ser procesados los datos que se manejen, entonces la conexión lógica por lo leído por este servidor, entre Oráculos y usuarios no es otra más, que a través de contratos inteligentes, se me ocurre especializados, que serian los encargados de bajar o mostrar lo requerido por el usuario. Es la manera básica en que entiendo el uso de los Oráculos en la cadena de bloques.

Y como lo he dicho en otros post aquí en Steemit, existe lo disruptivo dentro de lo disruptivo, el talento humano se manifiesta en cualquier ámbito y si hablamos de los Oráculos estos también evolucionan y se adaptan ejemplos interesantes de estos son el uso dado en el enredo(The Tangle) de IOTA, entendiendo que la tangle se aleja de la esencia determinista de la blockchain, entonces estaríamos hablando de grupos de oráculos que funcionarían como asambleas en búsquedas de consenso y todos sabemos la importancia que podría estar tomando IOTA al implementarse de manera masiva la Internet de las cosas, o la utilización de estos oráculos en la Lighting Network de Bitcoin, donde el determinismo se da solo en un bloque inicial y otro final, literalmente acortándolo y posicionándose un solo Oráculo sobre una cierta cantidad de canales o nodos Lighting Network, agilizando un proceso transaccional que de por si fue creado para ser muy rápido sobre todo en cuanto a micro transacciones.

La historia nos cuenta sobre la necesidad del mundo antiguo de entender como compaginar los designios de los dioses con el accionar de los hombres, hoy es la misma necesidad, solo que ya no es saber que desean los “dioses”, es entender como mejorar nuestras vidas a través de la Blockchain, para ese paso fundamental, para estos tiempos, contamos con los Oráculos.
