Verge Blockchain was hacked and that's the reality

But these bunch of losers are still on denial. They are doing their best with words:

But the reality is there was a major hacking with few million dollars gone.

So much for privacy?

Verge was using the phrase "privacy coin" as their selling point. Now the public knows how secure and private their network is..

That's what probably the hacker wanted to prove, as I think for any hacker a few million dollars sounds so cheap but still some few millions were stolen and have been sold immediately at whatever bidding price..

Taking the price from 6 cents to 4 cents within a few hours.. But thanks to the recent drop in Bitcoin prices along with other top coins, they found it as a good excuse to avoid the fact.

It took more than 6 hours to stop the manipulated mining but by then the damage was done.

So nobody lost their coins

Nobody lost any coins from their portfolio but so what? The damage is done, and instead of damage control the people are busy arguing and in denial. The goal right now should be to come up with something so that something like this don't happen again. This was the second time in a row. Last time the price fell as low as 3 cents.

Critics will criticise cuz it's their job

Negative people like will make negative statements cuz it's our nature

But mature people in the community should take things seriously and think before saying anything.

Final Thoughts:

In the long run things will come out stronger, but in the short run it's the small traders who are getting eaten by big sharks. Someone with lots of Bitcoin saw this as opportunity and will come up with huge profits in a week or two, someone who bought the coin before the dip and couldn't go short now must either HODL for months or take a loss..
