What is qiibee?

qiibee is a loyalty program built on the blockchain. qiibee aims to unify the scattered loyalty programs market by offering a platform for companies to offer loyalty programs through blockchain technology.

qiibee has already partnered with many major brands in the past, and has market experience and reputation in order to bring this project to fruition!

Loyalty Sector:

The loyalty sector is growing at an incredible rate. Companies are endorsing these programs in order to encourage and reward their customers for their loyalty to the brand. This is an excellent way to engage customers and give them something in return.

An example would be a local drug store offering customers points each time they make a purchase. Once a certain number of points are accumulated, the customer may receive a coupon that can be used at the drug store to make a purchase or get a discount.

A well recognized loyalty rewards program is AirMiles. Many customers will use one credit card over another in order to ensure they collect some AirMiles that they can use for their upcoming trip.

Fragmented Market:

Current loyalty programs have a large drawback - they are fragmented.

Customers collect loyalty rewards from various brands, only to find many of those rewards going to waste. This is because the loyalty points have little to no liquidity when they are tied to one brand. If a customer collects points from a store they use frequently, then they get a lot of value.

The qiibee Solution:

qiibee intends to unify the market by using the power of the blockchain! Just as cryptocurrency users can use exchanges to trade between currencies, qiibee wants to build a free marketplace where customers can exchange their loyalty points.

Simple Integration

With qiibee, businesses can easily integrate a loyalty program.

Step 1:

Decide a budget.

Step 2:

Convert budget into loyalty tokens.

Step 3:

That's it! Businesses can still continue to use their own apps and interfaces in interacting with the tokens.

This diagram depicts the process of businesses integrating their loyalty program with qiibee

There is a developer kit available for businesses to freely develop their own front-ends to interact with their customers. qiibee's developer kit is open-sourced and they offer support to customers looking to integrate.

qiibee Use-Case: John The Shopper:

Without qiibee

John loves loyalty programs. He loves getting a good deal, and remains loyal to brands that give him an incentive to continue buying with them.

Most frequently he shops at his local grocery store, drug store and gas station. Once in a while, he will visit the mall which is an hour's drive away and go to the shops there.

With his love for saving money, he always signs up for the memberships. His local store memberships are great, he can wait for the points to collect and use them. Unfortunately, his memberships from stores he doesn't visit often such as brand name clothing stores, and other stores at the mall. This is disappointing for John, since he has many memberships, such as the ones from the mall, that just collect dust and never reach the amount needed for him to see any of the membership benefits. This discourages John from shopping at the stores in the mall as he feels like he is losing value and collecting useless points.

With qiibee

John doesn't need to worry anymore. He can shop at any store that is integrated with qiibee, and even if he never visits that store again he will be able to exchange those points for the ones he DOES use like his local drug store.

This means that John can continue collecting points, knowing full well that they will continue to have utility even if he doesn't come back to the mall.

qiibee will allow shoppers to get more from what they already do, while helping businesses have incentive programs that actually keep customers interested!

@originalworks I did not get a confirmation from @contestbot @unprovoked

Here this weeks entry where I highlight Qiibees impact to frequent flyer miles and symbiotic relationships.
https://steemit.com/crypto/@machnbirdsparo/qiibee-empowering-consumers-and-fostering-symbiotic-relationships

I see what they are trying to do. But it is a bit more complicated and would require significant adoption for this product to succeed. This is a high risk investment (if it is a ico).

Of course that doesn't mean it can't succeed. If the team delivers a good product + it gets major brands as partners + the customers of those major brands adopt it and use its service then it will succeed (actually, will go to the moon because it is a high risk coin).

I completly agree with you @littleboy. It's seem to be very high risk investment with many challenges ahead.

i would also be very hestitant before investing in it

cheers
Piotr

High risk. High rewards.

thx for your comment @celineaugustinee
i've noticed that you also wrote very good quality post about this project.

I will follow you closely

empty statements make for poor arguments, especially when their (lack of) discernible content reveals a lack of knowledge of the subject being discussed

Finally @outerground I managed to find my post which you seemed to take as my public display of disagreement.

Please notice, that my response was not directed to you. I clicked 'reply' to littleboy comment, not yours.

Again: if my comment provoked you them please accept my public appology. I value what you do here on Steemit and my intention is to support you and your content. not the other way around

Yours,
Piotr

hi @littleboy if you have a read about qiibee you'll see that they are not just another blockchain startup. They are an existing company and they have already worked with over 900 brands. They have 100,000 active users and have already produced 35 million data sets with over 6 million customer activities. Big Brands like Subway, Burger King, Bench, etc pay very handsomely for these strategically important insights. That's why loyalty is so important to them.

qiibee have identified blockchain as a natural evolution for their business model as a way to fulfil their goals, create cost efficiencies, offer a very secure environment and introduce value in exchange by building a unique ecosystem. They also understand that producing an app means that millions of customers can easily take part. That potentially offers them the chance to become game changing, major players.

I'd argue that the qiibee token will have a very realistic chance of becoming a large market cap crypto. They have a portfolio of corporate clients who will be providing a steady stream of liquidity and many customers will happily aggregate and exchange their existing point rewards in order to reach beyond the limitations of any particular scheme(s) they belong to. I'd say it's an elegant and on point use case for blockchain.

Hello @unprovoked @originalwotks .. I havent recieved the bot confirmation on my post.

I hope my entry was seen. I didn't receive any message from @contestbot.
