MAXUV Weekly Statement & News - 1 December 2019 [MAP Steem FinTech]

Welcome to our weekly MAXUV account statement. Apologies for the delay but have a number of tokens to audit and then post.

Some signs of life on the token sales front, so we continue to increase our underlying SP. Still some way to go in order to get into second gear. Some new, slightly discounted tokens, have been placed on the market to stimulate further sales.

The MAXUV vote bond delivers upvotes that are equivalent to a large vote (more specifically, a 1 million SP vote) scaled down proportional to your tokens, including curation rewards. The maximum holding of 2,000 MAXUV tokens will yield the equivalent of 2000 SP; think of it as a "pooled vote". We may increase this 2,000 maximum in the future but only when we see more users.

It is important that Steemians understand the effects of the new reward beyond merely the decrease in their author rewards and to be aware that there are solutions to this - MAXUV is one solution.

You will get one upvote per day, and for many Steemians this will be about 2 to 3 times what they would now be getting for a self-vote, including any curation rewards. Let us not forget that self-voting is perfectly allowed by the Steem blockchain and, if you're posting once or twice per day, is a perfectly reasonable use of one's own stake; it is your proof of stake.

One possible use for MAXUV by communities is to use beneficiaries so that rewards go to some members while the upvote is generated from the MAXUV token holdings.

Without having to go into the complicated mathematics that happens under the hood, I have repositioned MAXUV so that it is an improved model on MAPX, rather than being up against MAPXV. Those who do wish to have two upvotes should consider @MAPXV. Those who rarely post should consider the MAPR token.

So, our new mission is to deliver upvotes that are proportional to the tokens held and proportional to a million SP.

Our new MAXUV-meter will gauge how close we are to delivering our proportional votes. At 100%, we shall be at our target level. Given the new reward curve, anything above 70% will still be higher than what one can achieve with one's SP alone. Our target is to remain within the bounds of 90% to 100%. It is also possible to go slightly higher.

Current MAXUV-meter = 101%

Note that we are able to adjust outgoing votes to almost any level we please, so we can quickly react to any changing market conditions in the Steem economy.

MAXUV ABV = 1.00 STEEM
MAXUV-meter = 101.0% (of 1 million SP)

Note that "Other STEEM" is the sum of all holdings not powered up as SP: liquid STEEM and SBD plus holdings within Steem Engine. Also note that such values are volatile, especially any holdings priced in US$, so the above numbers are a snapshot and may have changed when you look at the @MAXUV account.

The Asset Backed Value (ABV) is our total holdings calculated in STEEM divided by the number of active MAXUV tokens.

Target value for MAXUV-meter is 100% in 1 upvote per day, proportional to your token holdings as if delivered by 1 million SP.
