The Pakistani rupee (PKR) continued to rise against the US dollar (USD) on the interbank market throughout the week. It bought back over 32 shares today against the US dollar on the interbank foreign exchange market, closing at Rs. Thursday (May 6) $ 153.59 versus Rs 152.27 per US dollar at the end of today's trading day (Friday, May 7). This is a 23-month high for PKR against the US dollar as PKR traded at that exchange rate in June 2019.
