CRYPTO [Blockchain On the Big Screen]

Fear is the Ultimate Currency

They say any publicity is good publicity, but perhaps "CRYPTO" is not quite the Hollywood Blockbuster we were looking for. CRYPTO is the tale of a young Wall Street hotshot moving back home to his family farm in upstate New York and stirring up trouble with the Russian Mafia. The storyline escalates to some sort of hostage situation with Kurt Russell, a love interest with Alexis Bledel, and multiple bizarrely specific screenshots of cryptocurrency wallets that look exactly like Coinbase.

A Misguided Message?

Anonymity, Russians, fraud - oyy, fantastic. The media has been full of the shallow storylines and it seems like "CRYPTO" is just fuel for the fire to continue. Maybe the film has a message stronger than the trailer conveys, we'll just have to wait and see.

The recently released trailer features some headline actors - Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel, Luke Hemsworth, Jeremie Harris, Jill Hennessy, Malaya Rivera Drew, Vincent Kartheiser, and Kurt Russell.
