What was a totally over hyped launch of litepay where creator Charlie Lee saying Litecoin will overtake bitcoin etc. Litepays launch as been so lackluster its not even funny!

This is where I wish I was in marketing for some of these cryptos as their marketing plans are just total trash lol

So Litecoin is litecoins version of bitpay since bitpay said no to litecoin a few months back.

So instead of the massive Feb 26th 2018 launch we are left with an email as follows.

“Due to recent hostile actions by card issuers towards crypto companies, we have decided that offering LitePay card registrations at this time is imprudent. We will continue to monitor the situation with regards to card services and will open registration as soon as a reliable product can be supported.”

I have to say we most likely should have expected this when banks and visa cards etc said they where stopping support for bitcoin.

HOWEVER GOOD NEWS

They merchant side of litepay seems to be working and processing as it should. This should at least open up websites to start using litepay for payments which while it wont have as big of an impact it is at least a step in the right direction which is all we can hope for right?!
