NEO update and PRICE PREDICTION 2019!!

The ICO's that are coming out on the NEO platform are of high quality compared to some of those on the Ethereum Network.

This is a good sign, as the screening process for these ICO's has gotten a lot higher.

You can use JavaScript and other already existing code languages, unlike Ethereum that has its own 'Solidity' programming language developers need to learn.

As far as social media goes, they have a huge community engagement, 97k on Reddit and 317k on Twitter.

NEO has over 1000 transactions per second, which blows Ethereum out of the water.

When companies decide to migrate their business to the blockchain, I believe they will use NEO to save spending money training their developers to learn Ethereum's code 'Solidity'. It just makes so much more sense.

EOS - $5,111,396,174 USD
CARDANO - $2,057,672,110 USD
LISK - $317,071,920 USD

There is a huge gap in price between all of them, with Ethereum clearly in the lead.

NEO vs EOS is the battle everyone is talking about. Both EOS and NEO are decentralized coins (although you could argue NEO is more centralised at the moment, but they do plan to allow more organisations to run nodes) and they provide platforms that are capable of creating dApps and smart contracts. The processing speeds are really fast, and the transaction fees are low, close to zero.

Both coins are believed to have the ability to replace Ethereum. If you track the currencies, you’ll see that EOS is catching up to NEO on a fast rate though!

Even if neither of the coins are at their full potential due to the bear market we are currently in, both of them look very promising, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when EOS catches up to NEO, and they’re both on the same level.

FUD surrounding NEO:

The most concerning I would say is when the Xiongan government, in charge of building Chinese President Xi Jinping’s dream city the Xiongan New Area, chose Ethereum over NEO back in July, along with its decision to employ New York-based blockchain studio ConsenSys as the blockchain consultant for the Chinese government.

Malcolm Lerider Senior R&D Manager at NEO, responded to this saying:

"It is not Ethereum who has been accepted, it is ConsenSys that has been accepted as an entity, and that is a very clear difference. Ethereum, as a public blockchain has not been accepted"

Weak areas:

NEO has promised to address the weak areas by employing more marketing people.

NEO's highest price was $162.11 this was achieved on Tuesday, January 30th 2018.

The current NEO price $16.83 or £12.89 is an 89.62% decrease from it's all time high price 9 months ago.

Where will NEO be in 2019?

That will depend on whether the VanEck, SolidX bitcoin ETF gets approved by the SEC. If the ETF gets approved and Fidelity Investments manages to release crypto products by year end 2018, then…

I could see NEO nudging all-time high's again, or at the least $150.
