Enjin Coin
Back in 2011 when my friend told me about Bitcoin I conducted a bit of research into it. Knowing almost nothing about the potential of crypto (at the time), I concluded Quote "it looks like a token for online gamers to buy potions with and I can't see it being much more than that." HOW Wrong was I. Fast forward a couple of few years later and we have an actual crypto gaming token about to launch which is going to set the online gaming community On Fire. It's going to open up a massive & burgeoning industry of virtual commodities which up until now have been widely available, but organised on an ad-hoc basis. Controversially virtual goods transactions are tarnished with fraudulent activity. This is where the power of the BlockChain gets serious and sets a Gold Standard to work to.
TRUST - RELIABILITY - VALUE
These three elements make up the foundation of any market and one of the most interesting ideas and a large contribution to Enjin Coin's appeal is that it's a cross border currency and by that I mean it will retain it's value across platforms and from game to game with ease. They've really thought about how this will work and developing their own multi-language wallet not only brings together a global community, it makes trading simple for any gamer, no matter what level they are at. Enjin coin and it's wallet will literally grow with the gamers and SDK's will open up the platform for many aspiring coders.
Exciting Potential
The gamers win and the creators of things get paid. The virtual commodities sector will play on a level field using a trustworthy system. ERC20 allows for smart contracts. You Deliver, We Pay, simple, open effective, fraud proof. Well It is built on the Ethereum Network. * No Enjin coin will be traded by people outside the gaming community & It could easily build a market cap equal to some of the biggest coins out there. It doesn't take much of grasp of maths to work to imagine the future value of Enjin. The whole ecosystem already exists.
Team Work
The organisation's creative visionary Max Blagov has the services of Anthony Diiorio at hand - He's only the Co-founder of The Ethereum Network... and Pat Labine, The Game Monster behind Mass Effect, Anthem, Jade Empire, etc. Enjin Coin is probably going to be one of those BlockChain projects which proves the model for future generations to follow. Rocking article @outerground! You nailed this one. Congrats!
thanks @jonknight ! I think it helps if you genuinely see the potential in a project. To be honest I didn't think I was going to take 1st place. There were a few really good articles in that stack.. roll on smartone !
I agree. That's why I stayed out of the last one and current one. Not that I think they are lousy or anything, but that these have practically required some kind of base knowledge about the industry that i frankly just don't have right now. Pointless for me to cloud up the contest with work that even I know isn't going to resonate with the audience.
That's one reason why I actually did enjoy reading yours. You know this stuff well enough to instantly see the potential. And you can write in a way that I can learn. And I did. See - that is why you won this contest. Because you wrote in a way that someone who knew very little about the subject could learn enough to get the gist of it. Again, thank you!
