The Help My Dog (Floppy) Challenge: Day 20 - $48.71 of $5,000.00 - Please Resteem / Upvote / Donate Directly!!!!!!
Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery. Every upvote, comment, and share will help me out, and any straight donations would be wonderful!
Thank you all for your support, votes, resteems, and donations so far. Progress is being made, slowly but surely and my family is so appreciative!
DAY 17 UPDATE
We've made it 20 days into the blog challenge!!! Flop is getting better each and every day, his next appointment is on January 31st, I confirmed with Vanessa. We are hoping for continued progress and good news. Hopefully his bill won't be too much LOL.
Today started off like usual, a nice morning walk! Although it's getting really cold here in Florida, it's been in the 40's/50's in the early AM before sunrise, and it suppossed to be in the 30's tomorrow! I'm not looking forward to it. Floppy has a winter jacket somewhere in the house, if I can find it, perhaps I'll put it on him. Today's walk was enjoyable before work.
I had a few extra minutes today before I had to take Lucas to day care so I was able to give Flop a quick belly rub before we left. After his belly rub, he had some water and a treat and back in the cage.
Before he went in the cage, he went on the carpet by himself and was rolling around and itching himself like a crazy man. This was a bit abnormal for Flop, I tried to get a picture because it was super funny but I dont think the pics did it justice.
We got home from work around 5:45 and took Flop for his evening walk.

Vanessa brought home Publix for dinner and we had sandwiches and Macaroni & cheese. And of course Floppy was begging like a mad man for some. He ended up jumping up on Lucas' chair trying to get some and Vanessa yelled at him pretty badly to get down. He needs to learn he can't be doing that yet.
After dinner we put Floppy in his cage and hopefully he's getting a good night sleep once again!

We set a new high for single day vote total, 31 Votes is the single highest day vote total!!! The payout was not great, but hopefully we'll get some good votes and donations soon. We are now up to $48.71...as the Steem price grows and the site gets more awareness, I hope that I'll be able to turn my goal into a reality!
