Croatia's  Blokchain and Crypto Equality Association (UBIK) has established a  registered self-regulatory body on February 13th to create a crypto  community, educate the public and improve regulation in Croatia. According to the UBIK blog, officially started working on February 17th yesterday.

The  UBIK board met with the Office of the Tax Office in Croatia on February  9th to discuss the taxation of krypton as a capital gain, the  regulations of the first Coin Proposals (ICO) and the crypto mining  area. Croatian Bitcoin Portalı writes that members of the Tax Office are  expressing their willingness to participate openly in resolving issues  that fall under the tax laws.

The idea behind UBIK was created because of the increasing use of Blockchain in Croatia and all over the world. It is made up of various Croatian Blockchain enthusiasts, including  founding members, Blockchain developers, lawyers specializing in  Blockchain, and authors of books on Blockchain.

The announcement on 17 February informed UBIK that more than 70 members had joined. Nikola Škorić, a UBIK organizer who hosted the Bitcoin Group meeting  in Zagreb, founder of crypto intermediary Electrocoin hopes to create an  environment for Blockchain initiatives to stay outside of Croatia.

More than 25,000 Croats invested in the crypto paralysis of a country of 4 million, the newspaper said. Škorić wants the next 20 Croatian ICOs to be in Croatia,  demonstrating that the Zagreb Stock Exchange is in need of legal  entities against Estonia due to a lack of clear cryptography.

Škorić Poslovni said to Dnevnik:

"We want to make your startups with Croatian companies and to make the  collected capital directly in this country, to expand the database of  experts who can work on this technology, to create a pool of information  and authority, and to make Croatian companies an industry working on  Blockchain."

Working in the UK

Earlier  this week, seven major crypto companies came together to form CryptoUK,  a self-regulating body in the UK crypto industry. CryptoUK will work with the UK on issues such as Bitcoin (BTC) and  preventing the use of cryptographic currencies in money laundering and  other illegal activities, but will not deal with ICO regulations.
Japan also ranks

It  is reported that the Japanese Blockchain Association (JBA) and the  Japan Cryptocurrency Business Association (JCBA) have acted as a single  body for crypto registrations this spring. In Japan, a similar self-regulatory system has been created.
