Button Turkey: Fine Motor Activity for Preschoolers

If you read my previous post, you would learn one example of preschooler activities to develop their fine motor skills using buttons.

In this post, I’d like to show you another similar activity using button but with a higher level of difficulty. It is called button turkey in which the children learn to button up using a turkey made of felt. It is not very difficult to make, just give it a try.

Children are invited to button each turkey’s tail feather to its body. As always, at first children will find it difficult . But keep encouraging and cheering them up. If they manage to do this with ease, they will surely be able to button up their clothes by themselves.
