How I Spent My Day | 11-05-2025
Sundays are always busy for me because of the activities I always engage in, and this Sunday wasn't an exception. I woke as usual, on time, and then sat at my desk and started writing my article for the day while I also checked through social media to know the happenings around the world and Nigeria, to be precise.
I was able to spend some time online after arranging my publication. I didn't post it because I was waiting for 8:00 a.m., which was the time I usually made my post for the day. I engaged myself with other things, reading through different articles on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Immediately, it was time I went ahead to make my publication. Then I went ahead and took my bath and prepared for the Mass. It is the second Sunday of the month of May, and I have promised myself never to miss any Sunday Mass here in the UK. It was the Good Shepherd Sunday, and we had a visiting priest from Manchester who came in to celebrate the Mass with us.
The Mass took about an hour before dismissal. I accompanied my friend Mr Chris to a charity shop close to the church after the dismissal of the Mass so he could pick up a few things from there. I also went to a shopping mall called Aldi, where we also bought a few things, including bread.
I came back home exhausted, so I made coffee and took it with the bread, and then rested my head for a while. I also went ahead to work on my PowerPoint presentation, which took me about a few hours since I was working to get a good presentation that will allow me to earn a good grade during my presentation.
During the evening, around 6:30 p.m., a few of my friends went to the field to play football. It was indeed an amazing football session, but I was completely tired because I had played football the previous day. I came back home late, then took my bath and went ahead to rest because the whole of my body was seriously aching.
