I think I had a good idea to take part in the challenge launched by @sndbox and @creativecrypto on the artistic reinterpretation of the #ripple logo.

The image of the artistic work I used was taken from here respecting the rules for copyright. I modified it and tried to merge the concepts with Photoshop.
It is a work of Lucio Fontana , 1968, Space context, Expectations .
The way of this artist is certainly to be counted in the experience of the twentieth century avant-garde, with the transition from "figurative" to ... something else. I leave the link to the website of the foundation dedicated to him.

The #ripple logo immediately reminded me the shuriken of the ninja. Something that rotates, sharp, that goes to creep into an existing structure, preconstituted.
What are the cryptocurrencies if not this? What is this new world if not something that is insinuating itself into something else?
In Fontana's work the cuts can take on different meanings and one could be linked to the "cut with the past" in the expectation that you get something else to fill in the gaps left by the time it was.
Can cryptocurrencies really take on this extraordinary role? Who knows! In the meantime we can only wait, as Fontana also did with his "Expectations".

Il logo di #ripple mi ha ricordato subito le shuriken dei ninja. Qualcosa che rotea, di tagliente, che va a insinuarsi all'interno di una struttura esistente, precostituita.
E in fondo cosa sono le criptovalute se non questo? Cos'è questo nuovo mondo se non qualcosa che si sta insinuando dentro qualcos'altro?
Nell'opera di Fontana i tagli possono assumere diversi significati e uno potrebbe essere legato al "taglio col passato" nell'attesa che arrivi qualcos'altro a riempire i vuoti lasciati dal tempo che fu.
Le criptovalute potrebbero davvero assumere questo straordinario ruolo? Chi lo sa! Nel frattempo noi possiamo solo aspettare, come appunto faceva anche Fontana con le sue "Attese".
