Hot spot - Freewrite Short Story
Hot spot
He felt the time had come to leave him to his fate. "Maybe I'll find a better owner," he said to himself. "I can't feed him anymore and it's evil to have him".
There is so much at stake at times like this, everything seems so logical when we plan it, even though the decision always shows a crossroads. Abandoning a living being is not unthinking at all. But the point of conflict extends to the point of unraveling the lack of courage that we tie with a straitjacket to justify it.
A strange cold felt in his body when he decided between two evils, which was worse? And here is the hot spot. What is better or worse in a reality so cruel? What life is there in the street? What life is left in a house without life or joy? Who wins and who loses when love crosses the street with its white fur barking in fear, looking for your face and reason puts it in front of a traffic light without light? ...With the obfuscation went out to lose the sorrow and returned without forgiveness.

Great story, @zeleiracordero. Very poignant and poetic. The topic is heartbreaking and the cruel reality outdoes anything we can conceive on our keyboards.
That's right, my friend, the reality far outweighs any fictional axis. There is as much hopelessness as truncated horizons and many times sacrifice prevails.

Choosing between two evils, sometimes a thin rope is pulled that gives meaning to something that doesn't make sense. Reality, when cruel, transforms the heartbeat by obfuscated thoughts.
That decision making is very hard, since knowing not being able to continue being responsible for the preferred pet, the alternative is to give him freedom despite knowing that the creature is not ready for it. Thank you for sharing such a heartbreaking story. Receive my affections @zeleiracordero.
