Instagram has launched the Instagram open verification option for everyone and now all Instagram users will be able to get Instagram verified badges.
Instagram for commoners as the ‘Blue Tick’ became a status symbol for “public figures, celebrities, and brands”, however, the Instagram open verification has been launched by the media-sharing platform through which, anyone can apply for Instagram verification with an official online form.

Two phones just got certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia and by the looks of it, they are indeed the Redmi Note 6 and the Redmi Note 6 Pro.
Both phones appeared under one listing with the model numbers M1806E7TG and M1806E7TH. This is not the first time these devices are getting certified - they already appeared at FCC .

🗞️ Honor 8X Max key specs leak
Honor 8X as a successor of the Honor 7X, but this time a bigger variant will appear as well. It will be named Honor 8X Max and will have a Snapdragon 660.
The JD.com listing reveals plenty of specs of the Honor 8X Max, including a storage option and the dimensions. A variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is listed for a dummy price of CNY9,998 (that is equal to over $1,400/€1,200).

The Vivo V11 Pro will be sporting a waterdrop display and an AI dual camera. The front camera will comprise of a single lens while the rear dual camera will be assisted by artificial intelligence thoroughly. Waterdrop display means that the display will be nearly bezel-free, with only a small notch the size and shape of a drop of water, a la the Vivo F9 Pro.
🗞️Facebook rolls out its Watch video service worldwide
Facebook has been ramping up its video offerings with original shows and this week announced new formats including interactive game shows, quizzes and polls.
Facebook said Wednesday it is rolling out globally its Watch video service, which has already been available in the United States for more than a year. "We designed the product not just in a mindless consumption but in order to get people engaged," said Fidji Simo, Facebook's vice president for video. Facebook launched Watch amid a shift in video viewing habits away from traditional television to online platforms including Netflix and Hulu, and with more people watching both professional and user content on services like YouTube.
🗞️ Facebook deletes all cross-posted tweets without warning
News of the deletions first surfaced from TechCrunch, which found reports from users complaining that their old cross-posted tweets have all disappeared from their Facebook timelines. Depending on how heavily the user utilized this feature, it could result in huge quantities of Facebook content — as well as interactions with it — vanishing.
Existing apps utilizing the feature would be impacted by the change on August 1, which is exactly what happened. On that date, it was no longer possible for tweets to be automatically cross-posted onto Facebook, instead requiring the user to manually share a link to the tweet. However, users had expected that old cross-posted tweets would remain.

There is no doubt that the 6.1-inch budget iPhone X is one of the most exciting models that are expected to come out this year. However, in what may come as a surprise is that the iPhone 9 will feature a resolution of just 1792 x 828 pixels. This resolution pales in comparison to the OLED iPhone X that sports a 2436 x 1125 pixel resolution but also pretty inferior in comparison to 6-inch panels found on Android handsets that have native resolutions of 2688 x 1242 pixels. This proves that the iPhone 9 is seriously lacking in this department.

Under 'Tez 1st anniversary offer', Google gives a chance to win rewards up to Rs 1,00,000 to a few lucky users who use Google Pay for their digital payments.
“It is Tez’s anniversary in September. Over the next few weeks you could be one of fifty million Tez users selected to earn up to a lakh!,” the description of the offer says. In order to be eligible for this offer, the users must complete at least five transactions on the Google Pay app. The types of transactions that are eligible for the offer are – P2P and cash mode transactions to other Google Pay users, payments to other bank accounts, payments to merchants using cash mode, payments to merchant bank accounts and payments using a Google Tez UPI ID.
