Dam adding that for every single level and platform would be very time consuming which is why I think you need to remember about different enemy personalities, e.g the big guys might not bother chasing a player far as they get tired or not jump on all platforms because they are too heavy etc. Most games do this already @roundbeargames

i'll definitely have different enemy personalities. every character is a combination of states (like run, walk, jump, attack, etc) and each of them can be adjusted with different variables and animations. it'll be time consuming as you imagine. i've spent weeks only to test the very basic movements so far.
i like the idea of big guys getting tired. i think i might have some of them stop to catch their breath. good tip!
it might take awhile before i get there because i have more basic stuff to take care of for now, but eventually i'll have it 👍

My first computer was a 8088AT 20MHz with a mono black & white display. Initially I play with Garfield, and later got hooked up with prince of Persia. I like it so much but I couldn't find the similar quality on their sequel.

3-D graphics makes every thing complicated. It used to be that the shortest distance between two points was a straight line, but that is screwed.

오래되어서 가물가물한데 Dijkstra 알고리즘이 최단경로 구하는 알고리즘이었던가요... 내용은 기억이 안나지만, 게임에서도 응용이 되네요.
