Girl scouts learn gun safety and marksmanship

In my view people should learn starting at a young age and grow up with an appreciation and respect for firearms like they should with any other tool. In my view it can even come in handy in dangerous situations. But at the vary least give them some exposure to learn from as a life lesson. We live in interesting times with all of the red flag gun laws and endless wars for the profit of lunatic bankers and politicians and other assorted evil people. We are all fair game for tyrants as long as the masses are blind and obedient. Children should be educated and given some hands on experience to know how to protect themselves now and later in life. In truth it becomes the responsibility of each and every individual to take responsibility for the freedom he/she wants. After all an unarmed populace is a slave populace or subject to being enslaved and I think history makes that painstakingly obvious. Are there risks that go along with using firearms? Can accidents happen? Can one lose one's life to gun violence even if they are armed and have skill? Yes!!! But like with all things in life there is always risk even with things as simple as walking out your door. Don't give in to fear as freedom is more important. Thats why I agree with teaching scouts about fire arms. This is a brave thing especially in California where there is strong anti gun sentiments.
