My Lavender Plant 3.4.2020
With all the sunshine I been getting, the lavender is growing pretty good and the bees are visiting my lavender as I took this picture, it is just that them bees are just so busy and they keep moving around for me to take their picture.
I know some people that like to take the flower and rub it in their hands and then breathe in that aroma. I read that the aroma of the lavender flowers can be very calming.
Of course there is the lavender essential oil and if you don't mind spending a little money as lavender oil is more expensive then, let's say, lemon essential oil. People that like to use essential oil like lavender oil as it is like the jack of all essential oils. I read that somewhere.
Just doing a search on lavender oil I found that the baseball player, Sean Doolittle puts lavender oil on his glove to stay calm. Well, why not, sure lavender is a more expensive essential oil, but the baseball player can afford it.
I am not even into baseball now days, but when I was a kid I remember buying a glove and my dad told me that I should oil it. I think my mom let me use some baby oil. I think my dad said that back in his day he would use motor oil.
Well, you have to use what you have. As a kid I wouldn't be able to afford lavender oil. Well, as a kid I didn't even know there was a thing call lavender oil.
Well, with all the noise of the Coronavirus it may be a good idea to put some lavender oil on a handkerchief, that one could bring to one's nose and breathe in that aroma.
It would be good to know that lavender oil is antiviral and antibacterial. So putting it on a handkerchief and breathing in its aroma will help in fighting off viruses as we seem to be doing at such a time as this.
There might not be masks to buy, but we can always buy a package of handkerchiefs and put some lavender oil or some other essential oil that has antiviral properties in it.
Let's end with a scripture, And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11.
