Digital Bread: a Contest to Support Blockchain Developers
This contest’s goal is to support new developers coming to the blockchain. Here’s the deal: Show me your recent contribution to blockchain coding, and I will back many of your next coding-related posts with my vote and summon whale votes on them.
Developers are the new heroes of modern age. These people have enormous potential for success assuming that they have the skills and knowledge needed. Nevertheless, the first steps can be difficult because there is high competition and a steep learning curve related to blockchain and crypto development. As a frontend developer, I understand where you’re coming from.
What you get if you win the contest:
- Whaleshares community will support your next 10 posts on Steemit about blockchain development with whale votes.
- I will upvote your posts with a 100% vote during the next 30 days (1 post a day) and resteem some of them to my 1300+ followers during this time.
- Shortlist members will receive 100 DBREAD tokens each (a BitShares account is required). Hold them as they may have value in the future.
- Shortlist members with a special mention will also receive LITT tokens courtesy of @ash.
The best applicants could get gigs related to blockchain coding as there’s never enough of good devs :)
To enter the contest, do the following:
- Post in the comments a link to your recent blockchain development contribution documented on github/gitlab (see the themes below). Focus on choosing a quality work which makes a good sample of your coding talent. It would be great if you add a few words about yourself or a link to your online portfolio. Don’t forget to add your BitShares name to get DBREAD tokens in case you make to the shortlist.

Contest conditions
- Your authorship should be documented on github / gitlab.
- My choice is subjective.
- I reserve the right to stop supporting your posts if you essentially reduce the quality of your posts after winning the contest.
- Application deadline: a week from today. The winner will be announced in a separate post.

The big dream behind this contest series is to help talented people develop their talent by supporting them using the nascent DBREAD token.
