What a week! and its only Thursday night! The team busted ass and completed wiring all the cockpits early Wednesday. All test runs were completed this afternoon and no issues surfaced. Saturday the pilots will take off for the scheduled passenger trip to Amalthea one of Jupiter's moons! Scheduled to leave Monday.

It's roughly 50 thousand Light years from "Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy (SDEG)" to the "Milkway (MW)." “Space-Here-Now” found a worm hole near Amalthea, that dumps you out just off of Magellic, connecting the galaxies, making a trip that should take years, roughly 14 days.

Sometimes I feel like I am spinning out of control who ever thought I'd be so freaking far from home ... thousands of light years from my galaxy. Makes my head spin when I think it about it.

Angie, Bill, John, Susan and Michael are all here as we pass the vape pen around and chill out watching the display of the stellar stream visible this time of year right from our back deck. It's really beautiful now. Everyone is exhausted, but proud and glad to be resting. Amazing how much of the night sky you can see when city lights do not flood the sky! But that is what is being built here and as passenger lanes open to more and more civilians it's only a matter of time before this area is populated like so many cities on Mars and Amalthea. But that is years away and we will be long gone by then.

Turns out that shipment of Kapuk that went missing was hiding on a moon just a couple parsecs from SDEG. Took them 2 days to repair their ship enough to hobble to our center early this morning. Along with the shipment of platinum we need to deliver to Amalthea Monday. So in the morning we tear that ship apart and rebuild it, making sure they can withstand the ride home.

Susan and Michael are going to stick around and lead the new crew of maintenance techs on this side of "the hole" between SDEG and MW.

Once we finish fixing the Andromeda ship, the rest of us are heading to Andromeda and specifically to the shipping center to consult with the mechanical staff at the Andromeda shipping center. "Space here Now" is lending us out in an attempt to thwart future delays and see if we can combine the best of what we implement with what Andromeda shipping implements in the way of design and redundancy failover.

The future looks bright and as always a little unnerving but here's to another day in the far reaches of another galaxy so far from our home! CHEERS!!!
