Background: If you buy beverages in Gemany, you have to pay a special amount as bottle deposit. If you give the bottle back to a retail market, you’ll get the amount oft he bottle deposit back. Goal: reduction of pollution of environment by recycling less bottles (and beverage cans) instead of littering. If you want to learn more about this system, have a look at this page: http://www.bottlebill.org/legislation/world/germany.htm. They have also included the amounts of bottle deposit per bottle.	Hintergrund: In Deutschland gibt es ein Flaschenpfand, d.h. beim Kauf von Getränken muss ein Pfand für die Flasche hinterlegt werden, bei der Rückgabe der Flaschen im Handel bekommt man den Pfand-Betrag wieder zurück. Ziel ist, die Umweltverschmutzung zu verringern, indem weniger Flaschen (und Dosen) weggeworfen, sondern wieder genutzt werden können. I have put my empty bottles into the car in ordert o bring them back to my retail market. While doing so I asked myself: „Which amount of bottle deposit will I get back?“	Ich habe die bei mir in letzter Zeit zusammengekommenen leeren Flaschen ins Auto geladen, um sie im Handel zurückzugeben und das Pfand wiederzubekommen. Dabei fragte ich mich plötzlich: „Welchen Betrag krieg ich wohl hier raus?“
A second later: „Maybe there are steemians able to estimate the amount correctly?“ This is how the idea for this contest came up.	Und danach dachte ich: „Vielleicht kann ja ein steemian gut schätzen?“ So kam ganz spontan die Idee zu diesem Contest auf.

I know we can't see everything. You don't know if all the cases are filled completely or with the correct bottles. But if everything could be seen, no estimation was necessary. Conditions are the same for everyone.	Ich weiß, dass man auf den Bildern nicht alles sehen kann. Wir wissen nicht, ob alle Kästen komplett gefüllt sind oder ob sie mit den richtigen Flaschen gefüllt sind. Aber wenn wir alles sehen könnten, wäre keine Schätzung mehr notwendig. Die Bedingungen sind für jeden Teilnehmer gleich.

5. Contest is finished 7 days after this post; until then you have your time to give your estimation	5. Auflösung erfolgt 7 Tage nach dem Post; so lange habt Ihr Zeit, Eure Schätzung abzugeben
6. Winner: the steemian whose estimation is closest to the real amount of bottle deposit for the bottles and bottle cases shown in the picture. If several steemians‘ estimation are as close as others‘ the prize will be divided.	7. Es gewinnt der Teilnehmer, dessen Schätzung dem Betrag des tatsächlichen Flaschenpfandes für die im Bild gezeigten Flaschen und Kästen am nächsten kommt. Liegen mehrere Teilnehmer gleichauf, wird der Gewinn unter diesen aufgeteilt.
Evaluation of your input will be done during the two days following the finish of the contest. In an additional post I will announce the winners and I will add proof of the amount of bottle deposit and proof of payment tot he winners. Please consider that amounts of less than 0.5 SBD won’t be paid out.	Die Auswertung erfolgt in den zwei Tagen nach Beendigung des Contests. Ich werde in einem neuen Beitrag den/die Gewinner bekanntgeben, den Nachweis über das erhaltene Flaschenpfand und den Nachweis der Auszahlung beifügen. Bei der Auszahlung gilt eine Geringfügigkeitsgrenze von 0,5 SBD. Niedrigere Beträge werden nicht ausgezahlt.
