Steem Monsters is Looking for Voice Actors! // Become Part of the Game!
Steem Monsters is starting the process of creating music, sound effects, and spoken word for the game!
@isaria (me!) and @harrisonmir are leading this project and we would like to begin by finding voice actors!
We are looking for male and female voices for the following:
- A short, spoken word story that captures the essence of each card character
- A vocal statement for each card when opening booster packs
- Reading the backstory for each card
- Reading the backstory for each Splinter group
How to Audition
In order to be considered, all you have to do is record yourself reading one of the 2 stories listed below as an audition.
These 2 stories are both winners from our Common Card Fantasy Story Contest.
Just choose one, record yourself reading it, then submit the recording in the comments of this post.
We are still working out the Audio budget for Steem Monsters so we will announce the compensation for those that are chosen at a later date.
We are looking forward to hearing your submissions!!!

Great! Very clear voice and good energy. I didn't notice the mouth noises, but I get it. For me, I get a weird whistling breathing noise somehow and it freaks me out sometimes! Lol!

And actually, truth be told... this is pretty bad... I read stuff (Steem Monster stuff) on DLIVE often and those are MUCH better... And I do THE PLAYHOUSE where we 'act' out scripts on the radio/podcast... and those are (a tiny) better.

That sounds awesome! I used to do theatre, but with 4 kids it's hard to get out of the house now. 😂I'd love to learn more about The Playhouse and reading more Steem Monsters stuff!
