#PoetsUnited Banner Design Contest! (5 SBD prize!)
Hi everyone!
Today is an exciting day for me, because this post is the first contest post i write up!
This is a design contest for the banners for the Poets United group and it's open to anybody.
It's up to you, should you choose to accept this mission, to create fresh and striking banners for our two publications: "The Daily Dose" and the (coming) weekly "7 for 7", a "Poets United" footer to be used on both (maybe more?), and a new Discord/Steemit logo. Try to keep them distinct but related, if that makes sense? We want the designs to strengthen our aura in discord and of course on steemit! Think about poetry, prose when choosing a design, how to convey that the best way is up to your creativity! Maybe you should check out the older versions of poetsunited design for ideas...
The contest rules are these:
Entries:
- must be in by 11:59 pm CET, March 11th.
- must be published on Steemit ahead of submission with the first tag #poetsdesign.
- must be posted in https://discord.gg/mR6RdJJ >CONTEST ENTRIES>#poetsdesign
- must conform to the design criteria:
** One banner for the Daily Dose of poetry and prose.
** One banner for the new 7 for 7 weekly dose (containing the entries best of each week on Friday)
** A footer with "PoetsUnited".
** Images must be at least 800 pixels wide
** signed by artist
** keep "night mode" in mind! I will pay attention to that...
** the text should more or less confirm to this text:
- PoetsUnited's 7 for 7 of poetry and prose (the 7 for 7 come from 7 days and seven poems and should be prominent imo)
- The best poetry available on steemit last week
- PoetsUnited is the biggest collective of poets on Steemit
The restless souls, contributors and mods will be the judges
Prize for the winning designer is 5 SBD, winner take all. (SBD donated by @madevi and @warpedpoetic)
We reserve the right not to choose if we don't like any of them, but i'm sure you'll come up with something nice.
Judges can enter contest but will then lose judging powers, sorry...

Oh, if there are obvious things i have forgotten, please point them out so i can ammend, this is after all my first contest.
