My wife works at a pet shop here in the UK, and they have a store cat who belongs to someone locally but spends all their time in the shop! She's called Val and she's normally hiding in the cat bed section. She can be a cat from hell though- quite often she will hide until after opening hours and trip the store alarm. That means someone has to come into the store (usually 2 or 3am) and check everything is ok!
