Hello Steemians, how are you!! Smart contracts are to stay, they are the future and represent a new paradigm to establish an order in the middle of the disorder, helping in an automated and transparent way. We have a great advantage and it is that we are knowing all this technology before our neighbors, we are knowing it before many people in the world, and this leads us to another point ... OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity to be pioneers in our environment offering a service that was previously believed impossible or complicated, and is now possible thanks to smart contracts.

In this and my nexts post I want to motivate you to this, to consult, to understand how this technology works and to take advantage of it. Do you want to know what this is all about? I propose a game, a contest !! Using a smart contract.

Game Count

I'm going to propose a fairly simple contest, which involves a smart contract. The rules are these:

  1. To participate you must send 0 Ether to the smart contract, in this way we can register the address of the participant.
  2. The smart contract is counting the total number of gamers. Each can participate as many times as he wants.
  3. The winner is participant number 50.
  4. If, after 1 week of starting the contest, the number 50 has not been reached, the winner will be the last one to participate.
  5. I will donate previously 0.03 ETH (approx. 10 USD) to the contract. The smart contract will send this amount to the winner's address.

As you can see is a fairly simple game that motivates to participate. Example: If you are the first to participate and nobody else is encouraged, after 1 week the 10 USD will be yours. Every time someone participates is like an auction, others will be motivated to get ahead and rejoin. Finally it is free, send 0 ETH to the contract to play (you only pay the gas).

Are you already understanding what a smart contract means? Is nothing more than a software in which several parts interact. Every time someone interacts with a contract the code is executed, variables are modified and money transfers are made. This execution is done in a decentralized way (by the miners) and allows us to automate many tasks.

Do you want to participate in the contest?

Be aware of the following post (on September 3) in which I will make the contract public so that you can participate.
