Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.
We are so happy that more of you are participating and you might have noticed that we are featuring some of your comments in the digest edition. One thing which makes us a fun community to hang out with is that we do read each other's work and support each other!!
Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.
So, to be entered into the drawing, tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why. Choose from the last couple of days so others can go, visit inspired by your description, and leave a vote.

Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
This is what you have to do for your chance to win a membership:
- Leave us a comment as specified above
- The comment must have at least 50 words
- We will let you know if your comment is accepted and give you a number.
Here is a free word count tool
At 5 PM Pacific time the day after the publishing of this post, we will close the contest and draw the winner through a random number generator. This will give you almost 36 hours to post your comment.
The winner will be announced and sponsored the same day.
Finding a Freewrite
If you are not familiar with the daily freewrite prompt and the many wonderful writers who produce the most amazing 5-minute (or sometimes much longer) Freewrites, go to @mariannewest and look for the prompt. The graphics look like this

Due to assorted circumstances, I don't believe I've participated in this part of freewritehouse since Week One. Sometimes I just get so busy, I don't take the time to read others' posts. But this weekend I made a point to read about a dozen weekend freewrites, and it was well worth the time it took! I will mention several here.

@freedomtowrite's "Stranded" just cracked me up. The characters came to life for me so quickly! I just wanted to slap Blake, but Anna got him with the bananas and saved me the trouble.

Thank you!! I was so excited when I read this! Sorry it took me a minute to respond.
It is so hard to really choose what I like most. It is so fun to read them all. But these two caught my attention most. The one from @whatisnew had me rapping while reading it. When nerves are on edge, these things tend to happen, so she pegged it to the tee. The one from @byn made me feel like I was the female character. Her story totally drew me in.

Ok I have to admit that I went to read @eroticabian's post because of her selfie, but stayed for the story. How many times do you think a mother, leaves their child, with the wrong babysitter? Plenty...and this was just another example. Funny, probably truthfull, story, great job. Plus, I think I have that same video in my VHS collection! 😂 Butt I have no way to check! 😞

I'm going with this slice of life from @botefarm. It shows the power of childhood moments. I can vividly see the issue he faces with bananas. It gives me a new reason not to like them.
@botefarn has very interesting posts from his Nigerian farms and businesses and is a wonderful author. He's entering steemit contests like crazy and doing very well with them. I'm happy to find this post today.

I hope I made it in time! I want to nominate this freewrite because it is a fantastic start to a SciFi world that I want to know more about. It brings up some very interesting questions and there are so many places it could go. The descriptions are fantastic, especially for a short freewrite!

The beauty in this freewrite is awesome in its... realness. It reminded me of my husband and I. How differently we see each other and how others can see all of our flaws and find them beautiful.
