Mysteries of Dulce Base (Part 1)

Dulce Base. This place brings up a lot of debate in the community. New Mexico’s Area 51 or something much worse?

Dulce Base is an alleged joint human and alien underground facility under Archuleta Mesa on the Colorado-New Mexico border near the town of Dulce, New Mexico, in the United States. Claims of alien activity there first arose from Albuquerque businessman Paul Bennewitz.[1]

This first installment will go over the history of the area and some of the people involved who have brought forth information on this area. One we have already covered; Paul Schneider. For a brief overview of the area, you can check out the news clip below of Dulce where the residents seem all too sure something odd is going on.

Dulce Base has many rumors around it. So many that it has been on several popular TV shows such as History Channel's UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, repeatedly on the series Unsealed: Alien Files and Unsealed: Conspiracy Files. There's even a book entitled "Secrets of the Dulce Base Alien Underground".

What started the spark of interest in this area began with cattle mutilations. Although some thought to be alien, in the end it was done by humans, however, it was done in such a way that people believe it was to check for radiation as there had been a nuclear leak in the area 30 years prior, rumors say. It wasn't until the pictures that people really began to talk.

One of the first names associated with the area was Paul Bennewitz. Born in September of 1927, Bennewitz was a businessman and a UFO investigator. He had often claimed of a plot to control humans within deep networks of underground alien bases that were operated by both man and aliens. He was convinced that he was intercepting electronic communications from a UFO outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, which had eventually led him to the alleged secret alien facility of Dulce Base. In 1988 he wrote a paper he called Project Beta, which also has a book.

There are loads of rumors on Bennewitz, but to find out what is true and what is not would take extensive digging, as a former special agent for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations named Richard Doty, claimed that in the 80s he was tasked to hoaxing documents to feed false information to UFO researchers. Bennewitz was among those people.

Another man of interest was named John Lear. Lear was a Lockheed L 1011 Captain and also the son of the famous inventor of the Lear Jet. Lear began coming forward in the late 80's on Dulce Base with startling information. Possession of alien crafts, alien birthing pods, he had the original Dulce documents, and there is a short 15-minute interview with him where he speaks about these items which you can watch below.

The last name I would like to touch on is Thomas Costello. Costello was supposedly a security officer in Dulce Base. Allegedly, not long after he started to come forth with information he and his family went missing. He has the largest amount of information to come out. The Dulce Firefight between man and Greys, reptilians, the human breeding grounds to feed them, the multi-level underground base; all of these I will be covering in the next several posts as there is so much information to have come from this man.

Like the previous write-ups, I would take things with a grain of salt and do your own research, especially with the reports of false documents written by the government. There is truth in every tale, but finding it might not always be so easy. True or not this is all very interesting information and I'm looking forward to bringing more of it to light...let's just hope I don't disappear like everyone else!
