The power of compounding in life.

Be it getting returns on investment or returns on yourself. If you want to succeed it’s important for you to understand how compounding really works.

Albert Einstein had called the ‘Power of compounding’ as the 8th wonder of the world.According to Investopedia, Compounding is the ability of an asset to generate earnings, which are then reinvested in order to generate their own earnings.

In other words, compounding refers to generating earnings from previous earnings.
Well this is absolute financial terms but when compared to our real life, we can effectively apply this principle.Whenever we are constantly working on our path in order to search for a solution, there will be times we may face defeat. In fact in order to succeed getting defeated is very much necessary.

Let us take an example.I usually work out a lot in order to keep myself motivated, fit and increase my will power. Those who are fitness oriented would understand me very well. We tend to workout (Keep moving forward towards our goal) everyday. A single day without workout ( leaving the rest days aside) would cause pain and discomfort in our body. Thus causing our muscles to become less active. Then after that long break, ( of say 1 week) we resume our workouts and start feeling that it becomes difficult to continue from the same place where we had left earlier. Our muscles feel the pain of being over worked. It hurts our morale. We may face this similar situation at many places. Be it studies, fitness, dance, music, work, relationships or even smiling and staying happy. We tend to drift away at so many times that we lose our touch.

So what should we do?

We must strictly practice it at least once a week. Keep on compounding it so that you never forget it. Be so in contact with it that you know your game than anyone else. Be so passionate to find time in your busy life that you forget what being tired is all about. Robin Sharma quotes this in an excellent manner.

Repetition is the mother of mastery

At the end its all about this one life.

You have to do what you love and love what you do.
Make sure you keep smiling.

Because it suits you better than anything else.

So if you have left your hobbies half way in the excuse for work, studies and blah blah blah. Go pick it up. And make it happen.

Until next time Please remember to follow me here and on my website.

With lots of love and respect. Have a great week ahead.
