NOW THEN....

It's almost Halloween already, pretty soon it'll winter. Lately, the passing of time in relation to my life is like falling down a flight of stairs and each step you pass on the way down is a month.

Cripes...

Okay...Halloween. I'm old school as far as Halloween stuff. To me it's vampires and Frankenstein and werewolves...to a lesser degree, Mummies...Devils too, I guess. Pretty much monsters that were in a black and white movie are what feels Halloween-ish to me. I don't know why, because I am no where near old enough to have been around to see these movies. And now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever seen any of them all the way through. Somehow, something always interrupts me at some point.

I have seen Halloween...finally got to sit and watch it recently. Had not actually seen more than 10 minutes of any of them. I saw the first on which I thought was pretty good, then the second. I thought Halloween 2 was better.

There is something in the first one that no one seems to pay any attention to...it's this scene here.

What the fck? What the actual fck??? How is this NOT the first thing anyone talks about from this entire franchise? LOOK AT THIS SCENE. Which is...if I am to believe my fellow man..tense and uncomfortable, as the woman believes her boyfriend is under that sheet and not an insane killer.

and yeah, I can see that being tense...but, umh...I think you are all missing something about this, that is way better than the tension.

In order for things to get to this point. Psychotic murderer Michael Myers, on the way to murdering this woman upstairs...

after just murdering this guy in the kitchen...

had to STOP...look around, and decide to put a f*cking sheet over himself and put glasses on it...

he even cut f*cking eyeholes in it!

Would you stop and picture that, please? Because that is not only the funniest thing in any horror movie...he, like anyone be they sane or insane, would have probably stopped and looked in a mirror to make sure it looked right.

...that... is.... hysterical.

He, on the way to murdering this broad...gets this idea FOR SOME F*CKING REASON, and stops himself, pulls a sheet off a bed, HAD TO FIND A SCISSORS TO CUT THE EYEHOLES, puts some glasses on it and THEN goes to kill her.

Did he have the glasses on him OR was he so tickled by this idea that he went all the way back downstairs to get glasses off the previous victim? And did he do that before or after putting on the sheet? Like...did he get this idea, put on the sheet and think " OH!...OOOOH! I'm gonna go get that guy's glasses! Yeah!"

These are questions I have and was heartbroken that there was no such deleted scene that was included in a blue ray collection of this series.

and I am perplexed, that of all the people I know who love this movie, and have gone on about it...not ONE of them gave any thought to this part. Weird.

Anyhows...Vampire, Frankenstein and werewolves are Halloween for me. And I got a comic for the first two for you. Well...I guess I have one for all three now that I think about it, but the punchline of the werewolf on is that he's a werewolf, so It's pretty much ruined by including it here. Meh, I'll throw it in last.
