G'day and hello Steemians,Today I show you some special pictures from a white throated kingfisher.My dad in law caught it on the farm and showed it to me.The bird got released into freedom as soon as I made a couple of pictures.

The white throated kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis),also known as white-breasted kingfisher or Smyrna kingfisher belongs to the tree kingfisher.About 70 different species exists,including several species of kookaburras (Australia)
The white throated kingfisher is widely distributed in Asia from Turkey in the west to the Philippines in the east.
I have enough,let me go now...
After that we released the bird and no worries at all,the bird didn't get harmed or injured.
The white-breasted kingfisher can be found well away from water where it feeds on a wide range of prey that includes small reptiles,amphibians,crabs,small rodents and even birds.
During the breeding season they call loudly in the mornings from prominent perches,including the tops of buildings in urban areas or on wires.

Aaaah, beautiful little guy, antd the beak exactly like the Kookaburra. But a very different call to the Kookaburra.

i heard those birds around here,but didnt know their sound.I prefer the kookaburra,the laughing one in AUS...
