Nice quaint town outside London

in #colorchallenge5 years ago

Goldaming is a historical town in England about 50km south west of London. Due to its location, good transport links and natural beauty, it's quite a expensive town, and thus considered a very desirable place to live. In addition, it's claim to fame was back in 1881 when it became the first place in the world to have a public electricity supply and electric street lighting. (Source : Wikipedia)

River Wye runs by it, and makes a very pleasant walk all year round. I went there in spring when the daffidols were blooming ahead of the buds from the trees. I remember walking along the river in the morning and then having fish and chips for lunch by the river. That was a great day out.
