Color Challenge - Thursday Green - Bonsai Tree

Hi Steem friends,

For my entry into today's colorchallenge, I'm sharing a photo that I took today of a brand new little Juniper Bonsai tree that I was gifted recently for Christmas. As I'm sure some of you may know, I'm a big fan of plants of all kinds, particularly those outdoor flowers that I get to photograph and smell during the spring and summer months. I don't exclusively enjoy outdoor plants though, I also have a keen interest for indoor plants.

Previously I've shared one of the succulents that I have at home, but I also have several cacti, air plants, and now this brand new Juniper Bonsai tree. From the reading that I've done thus far it seems like they don't require too much water and conveniently, mine comes in a dish that has a drainage hole on the bottom which allows any excess water to exit freely.

It's certainly a nice little decorative piece here in the center of the apartment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll acclimate well to this new setting and hopefully I don't accidentally over-water it or do something else to kill it!
