ColorChallenge . Southern Californai Blue Skies and Neon Nights
I agree with Randy Newman, I love LA. I fell in love as soon as I moved there. Warm weather, rolling hills, beautiful blue skies, and neon nights. I saw the #colorchallenge today and was inspired to share a handful of photos of a place I will be returning to this summer.
And to be completely honest, I have all of you who upvote my posts to thank. It is because of you that I have continued to see how steem can empower anyone's journey. If it can help me, it can help you. And that is another reason I am moving back, to continue sharing steem with friends in Southern California.
During my first 2 years in LA, I worked for Postmates, drove around the city. This allowed me to see so much of what Los Angeles has to offer. In the streets, it can be an expensive and tough town to make a living in. But when one just looks up into the sky, one realizes anything is possible. Believe in yourself. Be thankful for today. May all your horizons be filled with beautiful blue skies.

I'm glad you found your niche in L.A.! I lived down there from '88 til '91 and never quite found a clique. I liked all the sites and things to do, but did not like the real bad violence going on there at that time - weekends usually saw 30+ gang related deaths back then and the month I left SoCal for KC was the same month Rodney King got beat down down by the LAPD. I do love the Bay Area and Northern California, though and I was born up in Portland, OR.

is similar vibe and feeling I had where I was in Mexico City.....I miss it badly but realized long ago I can't always get what I want, but if I try sometimes, just might find, get what I neeeeeed :P
