Here's another entry for the popular #colorchallenge photo contest, originally started by @kalemandra and now one of Steemit's most popular participation activities. Today's theme is "Thursday Green."

Green is the color of life; green gives us life. Green is also the color of the Heart Chakra.

I love the interplay of colors and textures in nature; here's a maple leaf on the tree by our back deck, after a summer rainstorm.
