Vama Veche is just a few hundred metres from the Bulgarian border. The name translated means "old customs" or "old border".

Vama Veche liegt nur wenige hundert Meter von der bulgarischen Grenze entfernt. Der übersetzte Name bedeutet "alte Bräuche" oder "alte Grenze".
