비트코인에 대해서 당신은 최근 1800달러 가 넘은것을 알고 있을것이다.
For bit coin you may know that it has recently exceeded $ 1,800.

불과 4년전(2013년)에는 13달러 밖에 하지 않았으나 지금은 엄청나게 상승한 상태이다. 이는 지난 3월 일본이 법정화폐로 인정하고 러시아가 2019년부터 법정화폐로 간주하겠다는등 세계 각국이 가상화폐에 관심을 두고 행보에 옴기고 있기 때문이다.
Just four years ago (in 2013), it was only $ 13, but now it has risen tremendously. This is because, in March, Japan recognized the currency as a legal currency, and Russia will consider it as a legal currency since 2019, as countries around the world are interested in virtual money.

가상화폐의 시작은 2009년 나카모토 사토시라는 가상인물이 만든 가상화폐에서 시작되었다. 2008년 미국 중앙은행(FED)이 막대한 양의 달러를 발행하여 이에따른 달러의 가치 가 하락의 우려가 가상화폐의 성장을 이끌었다고 생각한다.
The start of virtual currency began in 2009 with virtual money made by a fictional character named Satoshi Nakamoto. In 2008, the Federal Reserve Bank of America (FED) issued an enormous amount of dollars, and the fear of falling dollar value led to the growth of virtual money.

과연 비트코인과 같은 가상화폐가 현재 사용하는 기축통화를 대체할 수 있는가? 이에대한 답을 찾기위해 우리는 화폐의 본질과 기능, 그리고 화폐가 어떤 역사를 가지고 발전해 왔는지를 생각해 볼 필요가 있다.
Can virtual currency such as bit coin replace the current currency used? To find the answer, we need to think about the nature and function of money, and how history has developed with money.

화폐의 기원은 고대 물물교환에서 시작되었다. 하지만 교환의 대상이 가치를 지니고 있지 않는다면 그것은 통용되지 않는 화폐일 뿐이다. 그렇다면 금은 어떠한가?
고대에서도 "금"은 세상 사람들의 탐욕의 수단으로 부자들의 소유물이었다.
The origins of money started from ancient bartering. But if the object of the exchange does not hold value, it is only money that is not used. So what about gold?
In ancient times, "gold" was the property of the rich as a means of greed of the world.

하지만 가상화폐는 물건이 아니라 비 물질적인 화폐로 금과는 아무런 연관도 없다. 따라서 가상화폐가 꼭 기존화폐를 대체할 수 있는것은 아니지만 화폐로 인정을 받을려면 가격이 안정적이어야 하고 다양한 환경에서 자유롭게 사용될 수 있는 인프라가 조성되어야 한다.
However, virtual money is not an object, but an immaterial currency and has nothing to do with gold. Therefore, although virtual money does not necessarily replace existing currency, it must be stable in price to be recognized as money, and an infrastructure that can be freely used in various environments should be created.

현재 4차 산업혁명을 준비하고있는(또는 빠르게 대처하고있는) 국가에서는 가상화폐의 가치를 보는것이 아니라 그 알고리즘안에 있는 블록체인이라는 기술을 보는것임을 생각해야한다. 추측이지만 블록체인의 기술이 정부 주도의 가상화폐를 만들 수있고 그 기술로 현금 사용을 억제하여 지갑에 카드만 있는 상황을 만들고자 하는것이 아닐까 생각해본다.
In countries that are currently preparing for (or are quickly responding to) the fourth industrial revolution, one should not expect to see the value of virtual money, but to look at a technique called block chains in the algorithms. I suppose that the idea of a block chain could be to create a government-led virtual currency, and by using that technology to suppress the use of cash, to create a situation with only cards in the wallet.

실제로 한국에서는 대형마트를 중심으로 현금 지불 후 거스름돈을 주지않고 적립을 하는 방식으로 동전이 없는 사회를 구현하려고 한다.

이후 안정화가 된다면 지폐가 없는 사회가 올지도 모른다.

In fact, in Korea, we try to implement a society without coins by paying cash, paying the change without paying change, especially at large discount stores.

If it stabilizes, there may be a society without bills.

우리의 화폐의 역사는 정부가 주도하였지만 가상화폐가 주도하는 쪽으로는 가지는 않을 것이다. 왜냐하면 국가, 또는 연방에서는 기축경제에 대체용으로 민간이 만든 화폐를 사용하게 하게끔 하지 않을 것 이라 생각된다.
The history of our money is led by the government but not by the virtual money-led. I do not think it will cause the state, or the Commonwealth, to use the money made by the private sector as an alternative to the key economy.

그래서 결론은 금과 같은 개념으로 생각하고 사람들이 만들어낸 가치에 우리가 편승하여 적절한 투자를 하는것이 옳다 생각이 든다.
So the conclusion is that we think it is the same concept as gold, and it is right that we make the right investment by putting it on the value that people make.
