旅行-初见兵马俑
1974年3月，临潼县骊山镇西杨村农民在陵东1.5千米的地方打井时发现几个破碎的用泥土烧制的与真人一样大小的陶俑，经陕西省考古队勘探和试掘，兵马俑重见天日。
兵马俑的出现体现了秦始皇的仁慈，颠覆了我对始皇帝的认知。古代施行人殉，而采用兵马俑即制成兵马（战车、战马、士兵）作为殉葬品，不知放过了多少人冤死。
骊山逶迤，在天际青气苍茫。秦始皇陵位于陕西省西安市临潼区城东约5公里处，南依骊山，北临渭水，占地面积约为56.25平方公里，相当于78个故宫的大小。秦始皇陵的发掘工作一直备受关注，但由于其规模巨大、结构复杂以及保护技术的挑战，至今仍未完全发掘。所以现在看到的一号坑完成发掘修复，二号坑发掘很少的一部分，三号坑就没有挖掘。
兵马俑的名气太大了，自发现后不知吸引了多少游人纷至沓来。只是此次参观一路走来，体验并不好，自不说天气炎热，场馆人潮汹涌，热浪滚滚，令人窒息。还有来时路拥堵，路旁招揽生意者五颜六色，嘈杂混乱，道路标识等旅游设施的简陋与秦始皇陵巨大的声誉异常不匹配

And what's even more shocking is that they might represent thousands of people who would have been buried with the emperor instead of being sacrificed on his funeral procession! 😱
I completely understand your frustration about the tourist experience, though - it can be overwhelming and hot during peak season. But still, this is an incredible piece of history and I'd love to hear more from you (and others!) about your visit.
