The main stream media won't cover this, but Michael Mann lost his libel suit in Canada because he refused to give up his data to support his AGW hockey stick research opinion. The scientific process only validates conclusions that can be verified and reproduced. What reason other than that he is a fraud would justify his failure to share the data that underlies his conclusions? We have governments around the world making public policy decisions based on Mann's research and his conclusions about the catastrophic results of AGW ... yet he will not share the data. He is a con man.
