Ways to reduce global warming - by @dcrypto

Global warming has become a serious problem that everyone should intervene in it in order to tackle the issue. We are contributing immensely in promoting global warming, resulting in dire consequences. People think it is governments duty to alleviate the issue, but it is not the government that should deal with the problem, but it is us who should be dealing with the issue although there should be some stringent rules from respective governments.

Many of us have probably known the concept of 2015 Paris Agreement, which says there should be a limitation of 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2050. Researchers from an international team of scientists IIASA affirm that adopting significant changes in our technological, behavioural and social innovations along with some stringent rules associated with energy efficiency and low carbon production enables the target without depending on other sources. According to the scientists, this avenue could reverse the trajectory of growing energy demand that has been seen for centuries.

The team surveyed a significant number of innovation at the current market to fathom what would be the mainstream that can be used to decrease the energy usage. They found that there is 2 to 4 items reduction in consumption of energy if transportation, which moves people, and goods make significant changes.

They identified a number of key innovations, for example, shared and 'on-demand' fleets of more energy efficient electric vehicles with increased occupancy can reduce global energy demand for transport by 60% by 2050. Single digital devices such as smartphones can limit the otherwise explosive growth in global energy demand to a mere 15% by 2050. Strict standards for the energy performance of new buildings as well as renovations of existing buildings can reduce energy demand from heating and cooling by 75% by 2050. In addition, shifting to a healthier diet with less red meat but similar calorific intake can significantly reduce emissions from agriculture while increasing forest cover by 2050 equivalent to the size of Italy and Bangladesh combined.

This way of living not only offers individuals a healthy environment but also a healthy body. But, do you think it will ever going to be happen? I suppose it has to be come in the picture as the climate change has become an alarming and acute problem. Our comfort is one of the reasons for this issue, so we should be dealing with the problem.

We must leave to use cars which are generating carbons most and go for green cars.

nuclear powered cars?

the only one way is more green land and more cool global earth.

A very key issue addressed in this post. We keep on.addressing worldly issues and forget about mother Earth. If we wont stop eating it up it we be devastated in the coming periods. Thanks for the ways to stop it. It will prove really helpful.

hopefully the internet will allow more people to work from home in the future

assuming AI can't do all of those jobs.

two things, one is that any improvements in efficiency always lead to greater consumption, if you make a car that is twice as efficient then people will drive twice as many of them or drive them twice as much. Make a more efficient TV and people will make them larger and buy more and leave them on more.

The other thing is the cool trend we have had the last few years, I don't know about you but my heat bill in winter has been absurd, that has not happened where you live?
