Keep Britain Tidy | Join the Great Britain Spring Clean 2019
I recently found out that there is a neighbourhood clean up event in my local area this weekend, which I'm really glad I'll be able to tag along to.
I then found out that from 22nd March- 23rd April, there is a nation wide initiative to Keep Britain Tidy

I'm really looking forward to our local clean up this weekend, I've yet to join an organized group one, we've always just done it ourselves. So I'm hoping to make some nice local friends through this.
My kids are also very eager to join me, I've always taught them to be conscious about littering. But truthfully, all I needed say is they get to use their new litter pickers, and they were already jumping up and down.
Definitely think about hosting or joining a local clean-up!
Spend a morning doing something good for your community, and feel good about yourself. It's a win win ;)

I’ll have to see if there is anything local. We’ve done lots of litter picking in our area. People are terrible at littering!
The WI (women’s institute) started the keep Britain tidy campaign years ago but it needs a massive resurgence. I can’t go anywhere without seeing rubbish!

It wasn't advertised at all, as far as I know! I only found out (after digging further!) through keeping updated with local events on Facebook :/

A option I am looking into. But I am so busy at the mo poor excuse I know but am house hunting currently so that takes my free time 💯🐒
