The old embankment of the Sukhona River in Veliky Ustyug.
The photo was taken long before the beginning of the reconstruction of the bank protection. 2011.
Once in the distant Soviet times, the city tried to strengthen the shore ... this can be seen from the remains of concrete slabs and bare reinforcement.
But soon everything will be beautiful...there will be flat concrete and gravel near the water...
