WikiLeaks publication reveals CIA wrote code to impersonate Kaspersky Labs anti-virus company.

It is also interesting that after Kaspersky was accused, they offered to open their code for audit and verification to prove that accusations are false. But of course those who accused them would not need it because they knew very well to begin with that it was all fabricated.

On one of the many levels it is simply economic warfare. Remove competition from the market.

Especially interesting that if you look up on the internet you will find a lot of references suggesting that McAfee for example were not just cooperating but actively working on spying for the agencies. Don't rely on what I think about what i've heard etc - do your own research. 

In the meanwhile there seems to be a solid proof of which hunt and a propaganda war. That's of course if you consider WikiLeaks to be a proof of anything.
