Yan's every day life

And so this is Christmass.... hey Guys! Merry Xmass to every one!! im Yan Roads .. Single mother of two kids .. recently joined here and recently moved to this part of Mexico... Theres loads i have in my heart rightnow, however im gonna start by talking about a very important thing in life... Change....
Mahatma Ghandi used to say: "Become the change you wish to see in the world... "

I happen to live by that philosophy.. however in this case change gave me a lesson......

2 months ago I moved from a very beautiful confortable life in Cabo... Where i was making about 15 to 20k some months working in vacation ownership sales to a very different life... My children and I lived in a beautiful house in one of the best private communities there in a big house with a pool and had the best of lives...
i however Decided to follow one of my dreams... AS few of you already know im the creator of Organic Monster Project (music band) and decided to leave everything i know as confortable for Music.... many ppl supported me on this and i felt motivated....
Long story short i sold everything and gave it all for the production of my album and to bring the tour and take us to Europe... very successful in many aspects ... not in others.... Money wise not as i had my hopes into it...
Our organising wasn't t best ever... along with other important things ...
So came back and now i have to start from ZERO literally... in a new place with my kids, feeling a bit isolated to be honest.. And lots of struggling....
Well yesterday was Christmas... I obviously couldn't afford many gifts at this time.. (Not the thing my kids are used to, at all......) And thats something that i truly felt terrible about....
However, when i looked at my sons letter to Santa... my heart stopped (below) He's telling Santa (very honestly from him ) that this year he hasn't been as good of a son as he wanted to be .. so he said : " Id like to have this Nikey shoes that have light on .. But if you can't bring them , please don't worry and bring what you can, however Please, bring toys to children in need allover the world so they can be very happy. Please don't forget them" I just melted into tears .... Obviously the shoes didnt come but he was ok with it....
Anyways, as i was checking Facebook this morning i found this very interesting blog about what really is Christmas means and how does it affect the worlds poverty and how much we could contribute to poverty if we saved the money that only america spends on christmas presents every year ( please check the link so this make sense: ArchDuke Facebook ) then Leo, my son , came up with the best idea.... Since my friend @Luzcypher introduced him to crypto currencies recently and he watched how he has double his money sinnce then, he decided that from now on everything i make in Steemit and he makes on his crypto currency we will take 10% of that every month to make a santa box for children and poverty in the world... this Changed my entire view on Christmas from now on and made me realise I've done something good parenting wise heheh raising a very conscious child .. Leo is only 11.... So im very happy steemit has inspired us to become that little change we can contribute with......

My biggest lesson here was that no matter how much you're struggling, change can be your biggest guide to open your consciousness to that what you truly want to become....

The biggest teachings in life can come from our children... In my 20 years as a mother Ive learnt that every day we can learn so much from them and the best part of parenting is to grow together and have fun guiding each other.....
