Our GPS – Psalm 119:19
I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.
Have you ever been lost before? It’s a scary feeling. It’s one thing to be lost but it’s an entirely different feel when your lost in a foreign place. You see, you can be lost with no one around. However, you can be lost with people all around you. But if those people don’t speak the same language, then you’re the foreigner.
Sometimes we forget that when walking through this life. This world, in it’s current state, is not our home. We are longing for a kingdom the will be ruled with the ultimate righteous king. Ruling with the ultimate righteous laws. That being the case, until that day comes, we do all we can to pursue those laws to the best of our ability. They’re our GPS to help guide us home.
His law is what will go forth from Jerusalem when Yeshua rules as king. If it’s His kingdom you long to be in, then it’s His laws you should long for today.
Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!

It's alarming sometimes when we "feel at home" instead of feeling like a foreigner. There are some things we and our family do that alienates us from the rest of the world, even from our closest relatives. We must not re-assimilate or be lazy in our unlearning... we must occupy our time seeking the ancient paths.
We all must stay strong in our faith and no get lazy as you said! Turning back would be easy but "the cross before me, the world behind me!"
What law will go forth from Jerusalem? The Old Testament law? No, we're under a new covenant now.
Yes the Old Testament law/Torah because the Torah is the law of the New Covenant.
Read Jeremiah 31 where the New Covenant is first prophesied the law of there is the Torah.
Well did Peter speak and warn about men like you.
This has been on my mind lately, the idea that this is only out temporary home. To enjoy what we have in the moment, but to not get too attached.
Exactly Yeshua even talks about this!
Howdy sir simms50! So true and that's a great analogy, the GPS, well done!
