TAKE CAUTION AND PRECAUTION

I want you to closely observe the following verses of scripture as I share something life changing with you from my heart.

Pay very close attention to what I share here because it can totally change your life for the better.

John 8:59 (ISV)

At this, they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the Temple.

Observe this verse too

John 10:39 (KJV)

Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

And this one

John 12:36 (KJV)

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

The Jews had difficulty accepting the teachings of Jesus because many of them saw Him as a mere man and grew furious over the fact that He spoke as though He wasn't.

Their religious teachers and leaders hated Him out of envy because he had a great followership.

They also hated Him because He had results which they didn't have and because He showed no respect for their religious hypocrisy.

They wanted Jesus dead.

Time and again they held secret meetings, plotted and devised strategies to seize Jesus and kill Him.

Jesus was not unaware of this. He knew He lived in the midst of very cruel hostility.

He understood He would eventually die for the world but until the right time came for Him to do so, He took CAUTION and PRECAUTION in dealing with the evil men of His day.

He blasted them openly but was wise enough to escape their wicked grip.

Jesus wasn't scared of them one bit. He was full of boldness and courage yet He was also sensible enough to hide when He had to and to escape when He needed to.

There's a lot to learn from this!

Don't Die Before Your Time

Dear friend, it's not just God who has the responsibility to keep you alive; God often needs your cooperation to do so.

Some believers live too carelessly.

They claim they are a people of faith. Listen closely, there is a difference between faith and recklessness.

If Jesus didn't hide Himself the way He did on these few occasions, evil men would have stretched out their hands to kill Him before His time.

Jesus would have gotten Himself into unnecessary trouble.

God, no doubt, could have delivered him, but such troubles could have been avoided in the first place.

Some troubles in life are UNNECESSARY and CAN BE AVOIDED if we take caution and precaution.

Solomon in Ecclesiastes 7:17 talked about the possibility of a person dying before their time. Sadly, some believers have died before their time.

Value Your Life

As a Christian, if need be, you have to learn to HIDE (protect yourself) from unnecessary danger, otherwise you could die before your time.

Faith is not arrogance. Faith is not stupidity. Faith take caution. Faith takes precaution.

Abraham, the father of faith, had a personal military squad in his house.

What a house!

You could not mess with Abraham like you would do with a homeless man.

Abraham had heavenly security and EARTHLY SECURITY, if you like to see it that way. Abraham was militant!

It was Abraham who LED the squad to reclaim Lot and all the enemy armies took from Sodom.

The father of faith had his own army. He knew he would need it someday. The day did come.

If the father of faith had a military squad in his house, who do you resemble by being reckless?

Friends, please take caution and take precaution too. If you call it common sense, no problem, just use it.

If you live in an environment where there are contributions made towards the security of the area, gladly participate.

If you want to cross a major road and you find a foot bridge around, instead of crossing the road on foot, use the foot bridge.
