Choose Holiness
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Brethren, it's expedient that we stand our ground in matters of holiness. God has set His standard clear, 'BE PERFECT JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT (Matt.5:48). Perfection means to be holy and blameless. Don't allow the world system to cajole your mind about holiness: you have the grace to be holy. There's a great demarcation between sin and holiness. Nobody sins and goes free and nobody lives a holy life and not be free from afflictions. The devil is the father of sinners and he has the mandate to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). But the goodnews is that we have the power to choose where to belong. Choose Christ today, choose holiness and enjoy the presence of God and a life of bliss till eternity.
Although Christ was manifested to destroy evil from our lives, life might not be rosy when you are holy. This is because the devil has not given up on the fight to take people into everlasting bondage. But no power can take anyone to damnation without the person's consent, thus everyone is responsible for where they will spend their eternity. Today, I admonish you to take the path of righteousness, living for Christ alone. Don't give up on this holy journey. Encourage yourself and continue in the faith and you shall never be ashamed.
Let go of sin and embrace holiness, so shall your days be filled with the presence of God and all His blessings.

Righteous Father, thank you for your mercy and love lo these years. We choose you, we choose holiness. Please empower us to continue in Christ till the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
