GOD'S WORD CHANGES LIVES!

Whenever you are in a hopeless situation, remember the Word of God for it is the source of all hope. When you don’t have the strength to carry on, reach into God’s Word because it will give you the ability to take the next step. When the world around you is saturated in fear and afraid to move, you can go to the treasure of God’s Word and find courage.

Paul told Timothy what my Father told me and what I will echo for the next generation, "preach the Word." That is the principle that from generation to generation unleashes the power of God to change men's lives.

You can lecture an addict and they will remain an addict. You can inspire the sinner who needs Jesus and they will be an inspired soul in need of a Savior. You can encourage the weak, the wounded, and the weary. They’ll feel better for a little while, but they’ll still be weak, wounded, and weary.

But, when you PREACH THE WORD, when you declare what Jesus did, when you say what Jesus said, and you proclaim the power of His Gospel, then the addict’s chains are broken, the captive are set free, the sinner forsakes his sin and souls are won to Christ!

You have every reason in the world to be thankful to God. Be thankful for your salvation, that you are no longer a slave to sin. Be thankful that you have a God that makes ways and solutions for you, instead of dead-ends and problems. If you woke up this morning and took a breath, you have a reason to be thankful.
