WHEN THE WIND BLOWS

One of the wonders of God is the wind. The wind is invisible but we feel it and see its physical manifestations .
The wind is a powerful instrument in the hands of God. The wind as breeze can blow gently. The wind can also blow massively like a storm. In whatever way it blows, it's impact is always felt. Let us examine in the Bible some figurative description of the Wind.

God rides upon the wind

Psalm 18:10 " And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. "

God is seen upon the wings of the wind

2sam. 22:11 " And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind."

Wind is God's treasure

Psalm 135:7 " He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries."

The wind from the Lord brought meat for the children of Israel in the wilderness.

Numbers 11:31-32 " And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp."

Most of the times, the wind precedes the rain. It is unusual to rain without the wind.

The wind from the nostril of the Lord divided the Red sea

Exodus 14:21-22 "And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Exodus 15:8 " And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea."

Elijah was transported into heaven through the whirlwind.

2King 2:11 "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

In our world of technology today, it is the wind that gives a mighty aeroplane it's lift.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I see God ushering you to a new level of abundance and tremendous change. I see every blocked way open unto you in Jesus name. You will move to a higher level. Every vacuum in your life shall be filled in Jesus name.

WIND IS AN AGENT OF CHANGE
These and many more revel that the wind in the natural is an agent of change. Any time it blows, it's impact is felt by trees, animals and human beings.

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WIND
In the scripture,thr Holy Spirit is compared to the wind.

John 20:21-22 "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost."

The Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost like a mighty rushing wind and filled the apostles with power from high.

Act 2:1-4 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Holy Spirit came down to effect changes in the life of the apostles. Jesus Christ asked His disciples to wait and tarry till they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When they received the fullness of the Holy Spirit, they ran out bouncing like a spring. They changed from cowards to brave men, from incompetent to competent, and from in eloquent speakers to eloquent. They stirred up Jerusalem.

Act 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Here the word is translated from "dunamis" in Greek, which means "dynamite", an explosive.

When Jesus disciples received the fullness of the Holy Spirit, it meant they receive an explosive. Their prayers had explosive power like dynamite. When they testified, three thousand people repented and believed in Jesus Christ. If the fullness of the Holy Spirit had not come upon Jesus disciples, Christianity would have disappeared.

Without having the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you are not armed or equipped to go out and preach the gospel effectively .

You can only move to the higher level of power and glory by riding on the wings of the Holy Spirit. You can bring a change to your world through the preaching of the gospel of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The power of the Holy Spirit is not to be used for personal maintenance but to preach the gospel of Christ. The world is sick. The gospel of Christ is the medicine and we must carry this medicine to the patients.

Jesus commanded it- "Go". That is not a suggestion or recommendation, but an order. It is better we obey so as not to miss the greatest joy known to man.

THE WIND OF CHANGE
The emphasis about the wind of change is the revelation of God's plan in this end time. God is about to bring a change to the tide of things. He intends to visit the nations of the world afresh with the gospel of Christ to usher in the return of Jesus Christ.

**EFFECT OF THE WIND OF CHANGE **
The lord is looking for those who would become blessed by the Salvation of their souls and demonstrate this through holy living. And through the power of the Holy Spirit, they would be agents of the wind of change by preaching the gospel across the globe. That is anywhere they found themselves on the face of the earth, they would stand for the course of the gospel.

CONCLUSION
The wind of change will blow on you. It will blow into you and it will blow through you.
